Valentine Continues to make Wonders at Wings of Change!
July 25, 2025Gaspard’s Digital Footprint: Empowering Students with Tech Skills
Summer 2025, Wings of Change had the privilege of welcoming Gaspard—a young, energetic student with a deep passion for technology and education. His arrival brought excitement to the Wings Hotel Campus, and his presence left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
From the moment he arrived, Gaspard received a phenomenal welcome from the students, who were thrilled to have someone close of their age as a mentor. His energy, enthusiasm, and relatability made it easy for him to connect with the students, sparking curiosity and eagerness to learn.
Gaspard led hands-on classes in Computer Literacy, Excel, and PowerPoint, helping students not just improve their existing skills but also discover new ways to think critically and creatively using technology. From designing impactful presentations to mastering formulas and data organization, Gaspard ensured that each session was engaging, practical, and tailored to real-life applications.
Even when faced with challenges—such as unexpected power outages—Gaspard always found a way to keep the lessons on going. Thanks to his dedication, all the computers were set up and ready, and learning never stopped. His adaptability and determination became a source of inspiration for both students and staff.
By the second week, the students’ excitement only grew stronger. They requested more advanced lessons and Gaspard responded by diving deeper into Excel and PowerPoint. His ability to break down complex topics into simple, interactive activities made each session not only informative but also fun and memorable.
By the final week, it was clear that the students had grown significantly—not just in skill, but in confidence. Their improved ability to organize, analyze, and present information marked a new chapter in their digital journey, all thanks to the patience and passion of one dedicated volunteer.
As summer vacation draws to a close, it’s time for Gaspard to return to his own academic journey. While he may be leaving the campus, the knowledge, encouragement, and inspiration he shared will remain a part of our students’ lives.
Thank you, Gaspard, for your time, heart, and commitment to education. You have been more than a teacher—you’ve been a mentor, a role model, and a friend. Your impact will echo far beyond this summer.
We will be waiting for you to be back in summer 2026 and take care of a different cohort.
