Wings e-cademy – Class of 2021
When Vanina started at our English e-cademy, she had no clue where it would lead her. Coming from an extremely financially challenged family, Vanina’s dream to become a media person seemed like just that, a dream, as her family could not afford to support her ambitions.
She could not speak English, nor did she know much about the media or service industry – but she knew that if granted the opportunity, she would work hard to develop her skills and a career around them to uplift her family.
Vanina spent a full year at Wings of Change’s e-cademy and by working diligently, she became fluent in English which helped her to open great doors and her dream come true. Today, Vanina works at Orange, a multinational and one of the largest media and technology companies in Madagascar.
Vanina is a living testimony that determination, hard work and passion for what you do will help you overcome challenges and allow you to carve out your own path to success.
Wings of Change – Class of 2021
Cathina diligently pursued the English course at Wings e-cademy and became fluent within a year.
Cathina’s dream of becoming a chef / cook was always clear ever since she joined our program. Her colleagues nicknamed her “the singing cook” as she was happily singing while doing her training in our school’s kitchen.
This achievement significantly raised her confidence, and she found an internship in a famous pastry store downtown where all the expats assemble daily. Cathina is now fully trilingual and very happy to have found an internship which helps her move forward and hopefully this will also improve her family’s situation, soon.
