Afsana Amarsy, born in Madagascar, is leading the project. She Chaired the Harvard Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program, an initiative which offered curated HarvardX Online courses to thousands of students every year and brought them to the one-week Harvard Program conducted in Dubai by Harvard Business School professors.
Goulam Amarsy was born in Madagascar and has 35 years of experience in hotel development. As the CEO of Barcelo Hotel Group Gulf between 2016 and 2020, Goulam expanded the footprint of the brand in Dubai and Oman to reach 1,752 rooms. He has worked with his team on over 120 hotel projects on three continents. Goulam is also the President Emeritus of the Harvard Business School Alumni Club of the GCC and is very involved in the education sector.
