Afsana Amarsy, born in Madagascar, is leading the project. She is also the Chair of the Harvard Crossroads Emerging Leaders Program, an initiative which offers curated HarvardX Online courses to thousands of students every year and brings them to the one-week Harvard Program conducted in Dubai by Harvard Business School professors.
Goulam Amarsy was born in Madagascar and has 35 years of experience in hotel development. He is the CEO of Barcelo Hotel Group Gulf in Dubai and covers several countries including sub-Saharan Africa. He has worked with his team on over 120 hotel projects on three continents. Goulam is also the President Emeritus of the Harvard Business School Alumni Club of the GCC and is very involved in the education sector.
