Last Friday was no ordinary day at Wings of Change in Nosy be, Madagascar. The campus buzzed with energy, excitement, and pride as we had the extraordinary honor of welcoming the Minister of Tourism Madame Viviane DEWA for an unexpected visit in our campus. For our students and staff alike, it was not just a high-profile visit — it was a celebration of the passion, dedication, and potential that drives everything we do. Our students were raving about this visit all weekend through.

As the Minister toured our facilities, interacted with students, and learned more about our mission, it was clear that this was more than just a courtesy call. It was a moment of recognition for the hard work our students put into becoming the next generation of hospitality and tourism professionals. The Minister’s warm engagement, genuine curiosity, and words of encouragement made a deep and lasting impression.

Students proudly showcased their skills and shared their experiences, turning the visit into a lively and inspiring exchange. Many described the day as “unforgettable” and “motivating beyond words.” The visit was not just a highlight of the academic year — it was a powerful reminder that their efforts are seen, valued, and supported at the highest levels.

We are incredibly grateful for the Minister’s time, encouragement, and vision for the future of tourism in Madagascar. This visit reaffirmed our commitment to shaping tomorrow’s  leaders in the tourism industry and reminded all of us at Wings of Change that we are truly on the right path.
