Wings of Change English E-cademy Celebrates the Graduation of Cohort 9!
Nosy Be, Madagascar — Friday, August 22, 2025 — Wings of Change English E-cademy proudly celebrated the graduation of Cohort 9, marking the end of a transformative six-month journey for a group of determined, hardworking and visionary underprivileged students across Nosy Be.
A total of 121 students participated in the Ending Ceremony, which was held across the E-cademy’s six learning centers: E-cademy Campus, Cobara, Marodoka, Dzamandzar, Ambatoloaka, and Bemanondrobe. Out of a big pool of students, 121 were awarded Certificates of Completion—a symbol of their dedication, resilience, and achievement despite economic and social challenges.
Each E-cademy presented an English song performance, joyfully displaying the students’ newfound fluency and confidence. A motivational video was also shared during the event to inspire students as they look ahead to the next phase of their life.
Following their graduation, many of these students will continue their studies at the Hospitality & Tourism School of Wings of Change, where they will receive vocational training in hotel operations, customer service, and tourism management — skills that are vital to Madagascar’s growing tourism sector.
Others have been selected for internships with local telecommunications companies, where they will begin applying their English and communication skills in real-world work environments.
Wings of Change is committed to providing high-quality, accessible education to underprivileged youth who have little or no access to such opportunities. By combining English language instruction with practical skills training, the organization helps students build a foundation for long-term success in both local and global job markets.
“This is more than a graduation. It’s a celebration of hope, progress, and the power of education to uplift communities,” Wings of Change organization
