Valentine Continues to make Wonders at Wings of Change!

Summer 2025 is a summer full of joy and laughter at Wings of change!
This summer, Valentine — a dedicated and our youngest educator at Wings of Change — made an unforgettable impact, in the remote village of Bemanondro, and in the village of Ambatozavavy. Her passion for education, generosity, and love for teaching have touched lives in ways words can hardly express.
Valentine left her home all excited and super motivated with a suitcase full of her childhood reading books to Madagascar. It was dream coming true for Valentine to travel to such a wonderful Island and on such a special mission. She could not sleep during her trip as she had a thousand of ideas going through her mind throughout the trip.
Her own childhood books in English and French were very dear to her, she had cherished them for years but she knew that they will be more valuable to the learners over there. She was ready to give them away. She left behind most of her other personal belongings and filled her suitcase with as many as books as possible.
A Gift of Knowledge: Valentine’s Visit to Bemanondrobe Ecademy
Bemanondrobe, one of the most underserved communities in Nosy Be, welcomed a remarkable gift this season — a suitcase full of knowledge and heart.
Though she teaches at our main campus in Ambatozavavy, Valentine made a dedicated trip to Bemanondrobe to personally donate these cherished books to the local library. These weren’t just any books — they were part of her childhood, and now they’re a source of inspiration and learning for others.
“We had the honor of welcoming a heartfelt gesture from someone special — Valentine! ” shared the librarian at Wings of Change, Bemanonodrobe.
The learners in Bemanondrobe are young adults and grown individuals, many accessing education for the first time. With very limited access to quality resources, these books now serve as powerful tools for language learning and personal growth. The community library also includes laptops donated by Wings of Change that allow students to access the Wings of Change English platform — opening doors to digital learning and self-development.
Valentine’s visit was short, but her impact is lasting. Her donation is more than just a stack of books — it’s a gift of opportunity, empowerment, and hope for the future.
Thank you, Valentine, for believing in education and in the people of Bemanondrobe. Your motivation to uplift the lives of youth in this village is out of this world. Your gift will continue to inspire learning for years to come and transform many lives.
