From London to Madagascar: 15-Year-Old Gaspard Empowers Youth Through Computer Literacy

While most teenagers around the world are busy preoccupied, 15-year-old Gaspard from London has chosen a different path this summer—one defined by purpose, generosity, and global impact.
Gaspard has traveled all the way to Madagascar to share his passion for technology with the students of Wings of Change, a vocational training program that empowers young adults aged 18 to 26 who come from financially challenged backgrounds. These students, though bright and motivated, often haven’t had access to the same opportunities and resources as others. Wings of Change equips them with skills in hospitality, communication, and personal development and preparing them for successful careers in the tourism industry.
Despite the academic demands awaiting him back home, Gaspard is selflessly devoting his summer to teaching computer literacy—a fundamental skill in today’s tech-driven world. His classes go far beyond simply learning how to use a computer. Gaspard introduces the students to basic coding, essential software tools, and explains how digital knowledge can enhance not only their careers but their confidence and independence.
Each day, Gaspard arrives in the classroom full of enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine desire to uplift others. His presence has quickly become a highlight in the daily routine of the Wings of Change students.
In a world where most 15-year-olds are focused on their social lives and screen time, Gaspard is making a huge impact thousands of miles away from home. His decision to dedicate his time, energy, and knowledge to others is a powerful reminder that making a difference has no age limit.
Thank you, Gaspard, for your commitment to sharing your knowledge and for believing in the power of education. The Wings of Change community is proud to have you as part of its journey this year.
